About the Role

Zunny People is looking for a Senior Test Manager with proven hands-on testing experience to join our growing team of talented consultants. In this role, you’ll work with one of our key clients in Stockholm, ensuring high-quality testing and seamless delivery in a dynamic and agile environment. This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a tester, beyond managerial responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and actively participate in testing efforts across one or more teams, ensuring alignment with the client’s test strategy.
  • Design, develop, and execute tests in an agile context, focusing on continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Actively perform functional, integration, and system testing, ensuring product quality at every stage.
  • Work closely with IT and business teams, fostering smooth collaboration and clear communication.
  • Utilize tools such as Zephyr and TestRail.
  • Monitor and report test progress, providing detailed test reports and actionable insights.
  • Lead a team of testers by setting clear testing goals, ensuring hands-on involvement in test execution, and driving defect resolution.
  • Contribute to technical testing efforts, including test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in testing processes by participating in relevant forums and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to work from the client’s office 2-3 days per week.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a tester, in addition to test management experience.
  • Strong expertise in agile testing methodologies and frameworks.
  • Practical experience in manual and automated testing, with proficiency in test execution and defect tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading test teams while remaining hands-on.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in the finance and insurance industry.
  • Certifications in testing or requirements management (e.g., ISTQB, IREB).
  • Knowledge of technical testing, such as backend and integration testing.
  • Experience with risk and needs analysis.
